To date, we’ve been able to help over 1,000 Latinos embrace Islam across the world. During this pandemic alone, we were able to facilitate 8 virtual shahadas!
Many new Muslims find themselves lost and alone after embracing Islam -that’s why in addition to introducing Latinos to Islam, we’re working hard to nurture those new Muslims who have not yet integrated completely.

Growing up as a Catholic, Roberto would go to church and attend the usual services and felt he was pretty religious but the more he looked into Islam he felt that many of his doubts were cleared up. He preferred watching and listening to the Spanish Islamic material available from IslamInSpanish online since it was in his native language.

Sister Amelba accepts Islam after the Friday sermon (Jummuah). Amelba is from Mexico and started learning about Islam from her neighbor, Ra'ad. Today she came to know the IslamInSpanish Centro Islamico in Houston, TX and gave us the honor in giving us the opportunity to witness her shahada.
